Narodil
sa v Spojenom královstve, ale bol vychovaní v Brooklyne, New Yorku, a
promoval na Princeton University, Wentworth Miller je presvedčičivý a
kritikou uznávaný mladý herec, jeho credits span obidve televizie a
hlavne filmu.
Miller začínal svoju kariéru z druhé strany kamery. Po
absolvování kolejí sa zameral na anglicku literaturu, si to Miller
zamieril do Los Angeles na jar roku 1995 pracovat na oddelení vývoja v
malej produkčnej firme specializovanou sa na filmy robené
pre televíziu. Viacmenej netrvalo to dlho, a jeho túžba realizovat
herecké ambicie z jeho detstva sa stávala skutočnou.
V
dalších 5 rokoch figuroval v hostijúcich spotoch na parodiu Buffy The
Vampire Slayer, ER a Popular. Mimo toho hrál tiež v mega
sériali Dinotopia produkovanom televiziou Hallmark.
Miller
sa následovne objavil vo filme "Underworld" a vedlajšími ulohami vo
filmoch "Joan Of Arcadia" a "Ghost Whisperer", skor než sa pripojil k
natáčeniu Prison Break. Kde hraje stavebneho inžiniera, ktorý sa nechal
umiestnit do tej istej veznice, kde sa jeho brat chystá na popravu a on
sa ho z vezenia snaží dostat von, bol Miller nominovaný na "Zlatý
glóbus" za nejlepší výkon ako herec v kategorii Televizné seriály -
Drama v roku 2006.
Miller
má Africké, Jamajské, Anglické a Nemecké povody na strane svojho otca,
a Ruský, Francuzský, Holandský, Syrský a Libanonský povod z matkinej
strany.
Promoval z Midwood H.S. v Brooklyn College (Brooklyn, N.Y.) v roku 1990.
Jeho matka, Roxann, je speciálna vzdelávacia učitelka a graduate from Yale.
Jeho otec, Wentworth E. Miller II je právník a graduate of Yale.
Má dve mladšie sestry, Gillian a Leigh, ktorá je mladší. Gillian je právnička a Leigh je na právnickej škole.
Je alergický na mačky a psi .
Jeho tetovánie pre seriál "Prison Break" (2005)si vyžaduje 4-hodinový pracovní proces.
Podla speciálnych bonusov na Prison Break DVD, si vyskúšal Supermana/Clarka Kenta, ked bol projekt v Brett Ratnerových rukach.
